Source engine is a little bit tricky for a telltale like game I think.I reccomend you unreal engine.You can import drawkill animatronics into unreal engine.Unreal engine doesn't needs coding knowlege so your team can make programming more easly.I guess you can import sfm animations into unreal too. If you want to work with clickteam,animators should export them as a image sequance.Programmers will going to make a active object and import those image frames to clickteam fusion.Here is you problem,clickteam's maximum animation frame count is 300.So forget clickteam fusion if you will going to make a telltale like game.
